Northern Berkshire Obstetrics & Gynecology offered the expertise you need, and the compassion and caring you’ve come to expect, at all stages of your life. Our board-certified physicians and certified nurse midwives provide comprehensive, compassionate care to women of all ages.
Medical staff included Charles O’Neill, MD, Susan Yates, MD, and Veronica Del Riccio, MD. They are joined by certified nurse midwife Marie Gudz, CNM, WHNP-BC, MS.
Dr. O’Neill has practiced in the North Berkshire region since 1987. He earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, and served his internship and residency at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. O’Neill is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and has served as President of Williamstown Medical Associates.
Dr. Yates, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She served her internship and residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. During her time in Northern Berkshire, Dr. Yates has served as President of the Medical Staff at North Adams Regional Hospital, and as Chairman of the Department of Maternal/Newborn Medicine.
Dr. Del Riccio, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, earned her undergraduate degree and master of science from the University of Toronto and her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She recently completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she was also Administrative Chief Resident in her last year. Dr. Del Riccio provides a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care including labor and delivery, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infertility, and cancer screening. She is well trained in gynecologic surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Marie Gudz, a certified nurse midwife, earned her master of science in nurse midwifery and women's health from the Ohio State University College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She is a native of Mount Vernon, Ohio.
